It wasn’t uncommon for Mr in my
younger years, to consume an entire
pot of coffee. I still drink up to
4-5 cups a day.

Ingesting a large quantity of salt will kill a person. Why isnt salt banned? Don't give them any ideas!
Ingesting a large enough quantity of ANYTHING will kill you.
Perhaps the FDA should switch to de-caff.

Imagine if they sold pure nicotine. They do.
Somehow we have survived that dreadful terror.

Okay...so they are banning bulk powder or liquid forms of caffeine but tablets/pills (No-Doz) are still good. Basically because some people are idiots. Yep.

They have already done that. Several of them have ended up in the ER and morgue because of an overdose of NoDoz. It has been going on for years in collages.
Based on the numbers they should ban No-Doz and allow pure caffeine to be sold instead.
Me, I stuck with Jolt Cola when I needed a study boost.

I can’t even think in the morning until I have at least 4- 16 oz cups of coffee. Is something wrong with me?
To: oldasrocks
Nah.
My doctor put me on a restricted diet for a couple of weeks while I was having tests done, no nicotine (not a problem), no alcohol (also not a problem), no caffeine. I actually whimpered.
Life without coffee is not life. It is barely existence.
