Iirc (it’s been awhile since I read the book). Alinsky says to overwhelm the system. Take the rules and break so many they virtually dissolve.
That’s his plan and that seems to be what those at the top were doing. BReaking as many laws as they could. (Knowing the system could not possibly keep up!)
Therefore we must choose our battles and the Do J much choose wisely the best and most effective cases to pursue. We will not get all but just like with Al Capone must settle for one that can be proven in a court of law.
Thinking Cohen is a bad actor but he was around our President for a reason. It could have been a two-fold relationship as they say. Cohen wanted something and our President wanting something and it worked for both.
Had not heard of Gulf Cooperation Council
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_Cooperation_Council
Gulf Cooperation Council
The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, originally known as the Gulf Cooperation Council, is a regional intergovernmental political and economic union consisting of all Arab states of the Persian Gulf, except for Iraq. Its member states are Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The Charter of the Gulf Cooperation Council was signed on 25 May 1981, formally establishing the institution.More at Wikipedia

“... Presidency of the council rotates annually.
Arguably the most important article of the GCC charter is Article 4, which states that the alliance was formed to strengthen relations among its member countries and to promote cooperation among the countries citizens. The GCC also has a defense planning council that coordinates military cooperation between member countries. The highest decision-making entity of the GCC is the Supreme Council, which meets on an annual basis and consists of GCC heads of state. Decisions of the Supreme Council are adopted by unanimous approval. The Ministerial Council, made up of foreign ministers or other government officials, meets every three months to implement the decisions of the Supreme Council and to propose new policy. The administrative arm of the alliance is the office of the Secretariat-General, which monitors policy implementation and arranges meetings. Some of the most important achievements of the GCC include the creation of the Peninsula Shield Force, a joint military venture based in Saudi Arabia, and the signing of an intelligence-sharing pact in 2004....”

“The World Bank has been a strong partner to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries for over 40 years. Governments in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have mobilized the Banks global knowledge and development experience through technical assistance programs.”
Love that video! Maybe now some of the NPR viewers would approve of him, lol..
I think your post is thoughtful. As far as acting “now” that seems to me like sitting in the cheap seats in a stadium watching a football game and demanding to your compatriots that the coach must throw a long bomb now or forever be a bum. How the heck do we know what’s going on why there’s not arrests, whether there ever will be any. I try to stay above that part. I just like watching history being made.
(disclaimer: I get frustrated at lack of apparent progress too)

I double checked and to me it looks like NTI is one of those think tank or foundation style organizations.
It looks like they are monitoring weapons and the materials to make them all over the world.
The place that was destroyed was a research lab that was a target due to having US sanctions.
I am biased against Jerry Brown so I jumped to conclusions as well.
I think the GCC is greatly devalued under the new regime of MBS in SA and the inclusion of Israel and Egypt in the new strategic bloc.
Also, Qaatar is on the outs.
The anniversary of Oklahoma City. Columbine. Hitler’s Birthday. The day my buddy freaked out on mescaline in high school.
Yeah, Sky. I know. I empathize. My own family has been hit by *the culture*. No actual deaths, but some fates are worse than or at least, equivalent to. Broken hearts and shattered souls make for a walking death.
Everyone I know echoes your cries for action NOW. Some just distance from it all because there is no resolution. It breeds cynicism and despair. It leads to anger. Certainly the military elements on our side are aware of the Patton quote. Perhaps they have the same arguments we are having on the topic.
None of us know the entire picture. That’s all I have. Apologies. Even if everyone was on the same page, we’re not in charge.
At first on these threads I was lost entirely. Then some things started to make sense. Then I saw a topic come up that I knew something about and I could pitch in. I’ve been learning so much.
The Calm Before The Storm.
Showers.
The storm is beginning.

Best take yet.
I wonder if there could be multiple meanings, as is often the case in psychology.
Who is the woman in the green shirt looking at zuck?
If looks could kill...
I’m reading from some sources on twitter that more than 4 areas were bombed. I would find out more but hesitate to click on this independent news site. Working on a way to get around it. They seem to really be on top of the news.
Q, to my knowledge, has never said Trust Rosenstein. On April 12 they posted “RR troubles.” with a link to an article about WH efforts to undermine him.
It helps..some of the things I’m seeing are quite troublesome. Its hard because I’m becoming close to the Syrian soldiers.:-(
I’ll also throw this out there, even though it probably isn’t related.
Lyrid Meteor Shower
You can spot meteors in the sky from April 16 through April 25, though the shower peaks just before dawn — from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. — on April 22.
Coinciding with the storm?
