I have a thought and question.
I heard about a number of bad actors who had been buying cheap phones (trac phones) for cash and communicating with possibly other bad actors using these untraceable phones.
Question: I remember years ago that a good deal of tracking was done by voice print. Echelon perhaps?
Anyone have some insight into this capability with today’s equipment and techniques?

That is possible, I think there is an easier way, if you have a burner phone it is because you don't want to use your regular phone, because of tracing tracking etc. But you would still have the regular phone with you, so just locate/ping the burner phone and then identify the closest phone to it and who owns that other phone.
