Two of Zuckerman’s college classmates claim FB as their project, and Zucky had worked for them building it, and stole it. There was a lawsuit after FB made billions, it was settled I believe, and they weren’t heard from anymore. So was it Zucky’s or theirs?
Probably some DARPA guys that actually did the work and got a payoff at the end and handed the whole thing to the punk and let him run with it.
I’m not sure. I just know I never thought zucky was all that great. That story you just told reminds me of the Pirates of Silicon Valley. Gates and Jobs got a contract with IBM, but they didn’t even have an operating system.
So they talked some guy into selling them the Dos operating system - didn’t really tell him they had this big deal. Kinda stiffed him. Hence the name Pirates.
