I have two sons that were Marines, or should I say are Marines.
Once a Marine, always a Marine.
I have a little thing I do when I see a soldier, I go up to him or her and say,
“I cannot believe this, but, today is my day to hug a soldier.”
They love it and are always appreciative of the hug and my thanks for their service, caught me a Major yesterday at lunch.
Works good for police officers also.
It is a good thing.
:) I haven’t hugged them, but I always thank them and/or buy them coffee if they’re in line for some.
