There's a lot of fun in there when you connect the concepts with Hebrew.

Like the harmony in the chords, comprised of three keys.

Key (the type on a keyboard): קליד

144, x 3... 432

The keys manifest the voice (קול) of the hand (יד), which IS the world of action (use of the hand), and also speech (what is typed on a keyboard). Same key.

The word derives from κλείς which is from κλείω.

And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

He's even got the seed shape worked in to the picture. The hand, the action, the three lines... all the ideas already summed up over here:

Here is Seed for You

The Talmud informs us that the hei also represents teshuvah—repentance. To appreciate how the form of the letter hei embodies the concept of teshuvah...

...read over here:

Firstly, the word “teshuva” doesn’t mean “repentance”, it literally means “return” In Kabbalah tradition, the word TeShuVaH, is read as “ToShuV H” – return of the letter “heh”. It is talking about the return of the last letter heh of the proper Divine name, Tetragammaton (Havayah).

Re the Tetragrammaton:

Thus, except for a small number of Kabbalists and Karaite Jews, no one claims to know with absolute certainty just how it was pronounced — the only generally accepted fact is that the last Heh in YHWH is silent. In the end, it is impossible to state definitively how it was pronounced.

Mysteries of the universe! Action means to do, the root of the name Esav. The scale 'default' is the one with no sharps or flats (the one which does not deviate to the right or left to any black key), the key of C (see).

Case in point, toss

קליד translate English

into google and the "translation" is "C". See? D'oh RE MI...

Dumb puns for the win, because that's right out of the Sound of Music, the song meant to teach the notes of the major (Ionian) scale (סולם רביב) to the kids. First one out the gate, on the key of C: "do".

It pays to follow along where this stuff goes on its own because the result always ends up at something so basic a 5YO could understand it.

סולם רביב

Major scale - a great ladder, a grand staircase - 350 (11 out of the 12), which first shows up in Creation, Gen 1.10:

וירא אלהים כי טוב

KEY tov, haha.

Genesis 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

C what I mean? Back to basics. In Isaac is Abraham's seed called. Isaac - laughter, so there.

Probably a big clue in that to what the sound of the return of the final hei is all about. It's in the movie, about the resurrection of the dead:

"Do-Re-Mi" is a show tune from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music. Within the story, it is used by Maria to teach the notes of the major musical scale to the Von Trapp children who learn to sing for the first time, even though their father disallowed frivolity after their mother's death.

Rachel died in 2208, which was 3570 years ago, or 714 x 5 (hei).

קליד

186 + 74 + 20 + 434 = 714

A minimal laugh sound consists of an explosion of air within speech or freestanding. Freestanding laughs include a number of short, rhythmic syllables, each containing the voiceless, glottal fricative h, preceding and/or following either an open-mouthed vowel or a nasal.

the only generally accepted fact is that the last Heh in YHWH is silent. In the end, it is impossible to state definitively how it was pronounced. <<<

Wouldn't that just burn people up though, if the high priest on Yom Kippur - Yom Kippur! - was in the Holy of Holies, laughing.

Well, what can you do..

It's worth pointing out after all that, that my original post was to a Johnny Carson skit that ran with the "Who's on First" gag.

Watt? Who wouldn't laugh?

Everything comes around full circle, sometimes way sooner that people might expect.

A laughing high priest? It sure would go a long way in explaining why nobody knew what was being said in there. Nobody but nobody would have been the slightest bit amused.

(Ducking...)

1,000 Manuscripts with Yehovah

Ironically I've got a Nusach Sefard Shabbos Yom Tov Siddur with the correct vowel points!
