Get rid of welfare, and they’ll find jobs so fast it will make your head spin.

Understood on the lazy and people that choose it. I’m not blind to the scammers.

It will be interesting to see if liberals in Seattle cut this problem down to size or build it bigger. It is their choice.

During my last visit to Seattle some 20 years ago, I thought areas of downtown were already overrun with homeless bums and reeked of human waste. I cant imagine how much worse it has become with two decades more of liberal loons running the city.

Many of these people are crazy or alcohol/druggies. What percent are ones who you would want to hire? Probably not many.

Welfare should have a condition - you can collect for 2, may be 3 months but have to show proof of searching for a job. After that time period, the welfare board gets you a job.
Let's not discount that there are people who are homeless who should really be in mental asylums - they need help, but leaving them on the streets is not the way.

you are somewhat correct. Many of the "overt" homeless are indeed crazies or druggies
Many people who are just down on their luck and trying to get a job, are ashamed and try hard to get back up and look decent. THESE people need opportunities to get back into society.
The crazies need to be in mental health institutions.
incidentally I've never seen so many crazy people on the streets anywhere in the world as I've seen in SAn Francisco - not even London or Bombay or Jakarta or Paris.
