That’s particularly weird when correlated to the fact that some cultures consider terrorizing and torturing the hell out of animals before and during their processing for food has some enhancing value to it. It’s like humanities dark side has some collective memory of a forbidden elixir that remains just out of reach unless you dance just the right dance to evil to activate it...
