Mueller decided the case(s) were not in his scope. Mueller referred the cases to USA in SDNY. USA in SDNY requested and obtained warrant from federal court in SDNY. FBI, under USA/SDNY executed the search warrants.

Not exactly thrilled to see my attitude about such. The fire on the 50th floor of TT a few days ago was lit purposely and used to distract while they broke into Cohens office on 26th fl. They retrieved files which they used as probable cause for search warrants they used today.
