Would you be talking about Footrot Flats? I visited NZ once and went to a sheep station there. I saw this herd of sheep coming over a hill being herded by a bunch of border collies. I immediately fell in love with that breed and got one of my own I had for almost fourteen years. See my profile page to see the cartoon character of the the dog.
