Amazing what associations we make to these stand-alone initials! Usually we see “Research AND Development” .... it struck me as fun to see “Research VS Development” like an in-house rivalry or fight in a nerd factory! Because so often it IS that way.
Party affiliations probably does make more sense - but I had more fun with the other :-D
