I think the 23&me thing is creepy data collection on the population. However, drug therapies are hoped to be targeted to specific populations with specific genes. Theoretically, this would improve outcomes and reduce adverse events.

Along those lines. On Facebook they will have this log on and we will tell you your nationality by your picture etc. My profile picture is my dog! My black lab/ border collie is Japanese apparently! lol

Unless, of course, your goal was to have adverse effects for a specific portion of the population.
