I think the photo is either:

An accidental photo gleaned by NSA, or

A photo taken surreptitiously by someone allowed into the room but may have been flipped prior...before July 2013.

I’m betting on the former. That’s why I say it verified the phones were allowed in. I also am convinced that NSA can strip every bit of content from any Android phone at anytime. Notice it is only the iPhone that is causing them trouble.
