Thank you baggie. That’s true. Symbolism will be their downfall.... I’m calling the Papal Snake Room a big symbol. Did you know it was commissioned in 1963 and finished in 1971? Pope Paul (whatever number he was) commissioned it. I do hope THAT symbol of the snake architecture is part of their downfall. That Snake Room is downright yoooogly.
Isn’t Pope Paul the pope who foisted Vatican II on the world? That was VERY disturbing to my Catholic friends as it was happening. Looking back, it surely has the appearance of a takeover.... very much in the wrecking ball pattern resembling the “hope and change” Hussein* put us through. I wonder if Vat II was when the overall takeover happened in the Vatican culture?
That question of “when was the takeover?” was actually the siren song that beckoned me into that Vatican Hole. I wanted to know whodunnit - and when.
Then I got hijacked when I saw that picture of Juncker and he seemed to fit into that visual question I had about picture with the Holocaust Survivor. But he didn’t. Then everyone here can construct for themselves how the wheels came off.
*(And could that be another one of our ‘Hs’ to consider? - Hussein?)

Pope John XXIII called Vatican II. He died in the middle and Pope Paul VI finished it. When it was over, Paul VI said he felt that “through some crack the smoke of Satan had entered into the Church.” Gee ya think?
The root of the snake in the Vatican goes back to around 300 or so--when pride consumed the Bishop of Rome such that he decided to wage a successful political conquest demanding that all other Bishops kowtow to him as the supreme potentate. Pride being the thing that got satan kicked out of Heaven, it was a masterful stroke on the part of satan to garner such a level of control over such a massive 'Christian' institution so early on.
Alas, Protestants have little room to take comfort. About any congregation older than around a year and a half with a leader with any significant degree of RAD (Attachment Disorder) is usually fairly consumed with similar levels and types of pride.
And they all are more addicted to building their own personal kingdoms than Christ's Kingdom.
