After the fallout from 2010, not related to the story about the Jesuit found dead at the prostitutes house in 2015 but, I believe more recently, there was a story about a Vatican "department" that had its offices just nearby, a block away or so(?), that recently had a scandal rumored related to child trafficking. I want to say it was rumored an alleged male prostitute had died there or something and there was a coverup.
I guess what Im saying is that there is a rabbit hole here that is related to trafficking and connected with tonights posts but I cant find the right hole to jump down. Do you have any idea what story or what "department" Im thinking of?
I have not been spelunking in that particular rabbit hole, gnarledmaw, but I have run across someone who is purportedly an ace Vatican reporter, trying to expose and clean up the pedophilia which has overtaken the Church. I recalled his name, and he has a web site, on which you might find your answer, or leads to find your answer.
There are many, many stories connecting certain priests in the Vatican with homosexual orgies involving young men and drugs.
Pope Francis seems to have surrounded himself with many of them.
There are also a lot of disturbing stories involving abuse —often of the homosexual variety— about many of the Pope’s friends and allies in South America. Some of them have involved trafficking, although I am not sure how reliable those claims are.
