Buttermilk is best cold in a tumbler. Its so good when you drink it, it makes your eyes kind of roll back and go scrunchy. (A word I have never before in my life used. I promise not to use it again.)

My dad used to crunch up crackers in his biggo glass of buttermilk like the old Arky that he was. He never once accused me or my brothers of horking all the buttermilk. One smell and the foul juice never passed my lips.
