Neil Young Goes After ‘Lowlife’ Trump: ‘He’s Got to Go… I Don’t Care How It Happens’
Breitbart ^ | 25 Mar 2018 | BEN KEW

Posted on 03/25/2018 7:22:33 PM PDT by conservative98

“I don’t see how it can go on,” Young said of the Trump presidency. “The man — Trump, the president of the United States — is a mess. He has no balls. He hasn’t got one ball. He literally has nothing. All the bravado, all the you’re fired, you’re fired, all that shit, he doesn’t have the balls to look anybody in the face and tell them anything.”

Young added that his “biggest problem” was with Trump is his environmental policies, which include reducing fossil fuel regulation and pulling the United States out of the Paris Climate Agreement.

“[The environment] is my biggest problem with Trump,” the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer said. “None of this other shit matters as much. He is an animal. He’s got to go. But you know, the system will take care of him. What a lowlife. No respect for that guy.”

“Every day when I look at the news, I’m hoping somehow he’s gone,” Young continued. “That’s the story I’m looking for. I don’t care how it happens. I wouldn’t wish any ill on anybody, but I’d just like to see him out of that office.”

Young added that he doesn’t “think that black people are treated correctly here in this country.”

“We still have a long way to go. And it’s easy to do. Look at England. They’re fine. Canada treats black folks like human beings. Black people have places to go, but the United States of America is not one of the best ones,” Young said. “I don’t know if it’s racism or the need to attack somebody—this need of “I have to have an enemy.” So, the change is slow. “Southern Man” is just a real song about something that happened, and continues to happen.”

To me, one of the the most puzzling aspects of human nature is that just because someone is famous for being good at X (music), people will place extra value in their opinions on Y (politics).

So often, a seriously flawed movie star, divorced seven or eight times (so far), can be heard on a late night talk show sharing words of wisdom on how to keep a marriage relationship strong and healthy, and people are listening! Clapping even!

Neil Young’s opinion on Trump’s presidency means about as much as my daughter’s pet bunny rabbit’s opinion. He’s a successful musician and I might listen to what he has to say about music - but that’s it.

And that’s just the music part - his lyrics have always sucked.

I’ll change it up a bit:
“I hope Neil Young will remember, American man don’t need him around anyhow!”

Ya know, Neil’s talking like he wants attention from some Southern band, the likes of a modern day Lynard Skynard, to write another “Sweet Home Alabama” about him. So Neil stomps around on the war path trying to be important, bad mouthing the President who gives jobs to Americans so they can buy Neil’s records, and it just becomes pathetic what a pathetic old man like Neil will try to do to get attention and be relevant. I heard he poked his eye with his finger and it damaged his brain... seriously. Anyway, I shouldn’t be disrespectful of older hippies like Neil, I mean he made it this far when he said it was better to burn out than to fade away. So maybe he got some wisdom with his old age... but reading this screed on Trump, I seriously doubt it. Old man take a look at your life... because... there is no fool like an old fool!!!!!

“He needs to back to Canada where he’d be much happier with Trudeau.”

I suspect that in his mind, attacking the president of the United States in the absolute terms he used, makes him as important or even more important than Trump. He, after all, is saying “I (as important as I am) demand that somebody do away with Trump. Therefore, moving to Canada and being happy with Canadian leadership would not provide the ego boost he gets from seeing himself quoted in a “news” article.

What an idiot.

Most black people in the U.S. are just fine. The problem is the underclass of all races, but in which blacks are overrepresented. But that is beyond Neil Young's powers of analysis.

FWIW, Canada's black population is about three percent. They are outnumbered by South Asians and Chinese. The big ethnic issue has to do with native peoples. The situations are not comparable.

And if he thinks England is fine with regard to race and multiculturalism, he's been brain dead for at least 20 years. Which is probably the case.

“When that happened, I said, ‘Mmm, I think I’m gonna get me a 12-gauge.’ And I did. And later on I got a .45. I’ve always been a gunner, it’s just part of my thing, but no, it’s not really based on a reasonable fear. I think you’re probably better off calling 911.”

That's an irrational sentence.
