The notion that Trump would interpret the Omnibus Appropriations and other Acts so that funds for building the wall, in excess of the approx 1.6 billion appropriated (use of DoD, etc.) was at least a passing subject of Fox 'n' Friends this morning. I think Steve Ducey brought it up.
I generally don't watch the news unless something is breaking, and my catch of this was pure coincidence as I was tasked with "letting the dogs back in the house," which happens to be nearby a teevee I am not usually nearby.
The general tenor of the back and forth was "What do you think of this idea?" sort of thing. No definite assertion.
“What do you think of this idea?”
That’s why there need to be WallCams at all the sites, with Help Wanted signs peppering the scenes.

The rest of us BOOMERS are red, white, and blue patriots. Radical hippies of the 60s may try to bring down our nation, but we patriots are rising up!

The rule passed this week in larger rules package, any such amendment that would target an employee or program would have to be passed by a majority of the House and Senate. That makes it unlikely, albeit possible, for lawmakers to reduce a federal worker’s pay.Many don't even deserve $1.00.

Democrats and federal employees who worry about how President-elect Donald Trump could use it blasted the rule.
“This is part of a very chilling theme that federal workers are seeing right now,” Maureen Gilman, the legislative director for the National Treasury Employees Union, told the Post.
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) told reporters this week that the Holman Rule gives Congress a chance to change how government works, something voters asked for when they voted for Trump.
“This is a big rule change inside there that allows people to get at places they hadn’t before,” he told reporters.
The new rule follows requests by the Trump transition team for lists of the names of employees involved in specific programs, such as Energy Department scientists who have worked on climate change.

I would liked to have had more time to respond and reply but I’m going to be signing out again soon. Anyway, “Do you remember that President Reagan was forced to take Bush 1 as his running mate?” Perot had nothing to do with that. “Do you remember that Bush 1 was ex-director of CIA?” Perot had nothing to do with that. “Do you ‘know’ whether or not elections were rigged back then?” Perot wasn’t the only political intrigue going on at the time. As Iv’e said at other times, “I could not bring myself to vote for Bush 1 because of his connection to the CIA.
My suspicions of that day and time have only been reinforced. Even if Perot had won that election, (Who can really say he didn’t, as I have read elsewhere, its the one who gets to count the votes that wins.) We could still be in the same place today regardless of who was elected.
Some cynicism? Yes. Is man in control? No.
......Instead, on today’s Morning Joe, Scarborough expressed surprising skepticism. Scarborough said that instead of being interested in “truth, justice, and the American Way,” it looked like Daniels is simply out for:
“a really big, fat paycheck for her from some publication.”
My brother being a Nam Vet. (flew planes...off the subject..LOL) didn't fall for the sham. He figured they were going to give others their pass ports. Once in New York they were told they weren't needed in the US. He and the others did get a BIG settlement thankfully.

(12) Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom Phase I were televised, from the buildup to the conclusion.
Trump and our non-dithering allies won’t put on a show.
