Agree with your assessment. I think Congresscritters are hoping to separate him from the base with this bill. Lots seem willing to fall for that. I think he needs our support more than ever right now.
That was the thought that I had. He was righteously indignant and being made to swallow a bitter pill.
Am hoping that the upthread conversation about the possibility that the reason for that pill is that the corp of engineers will now be funded for infrastructure is true. ... but does not take away the sting of the awfulness of what the dems put in there.
I think our DJT will end up making lemonade out of these lemons!
POTUS was SEETHING! I think he had begun to trust McConnell and Ryan and felt totally betrayed as he learned more of the details of this bill. I wanted to cry for him.
We need cool heads. We cannot lose either the House or the Senate to the Democrats or President Trump will be impeached. However, the wrath of God needs to come down on Republican leadership. How we accomplish both I don’t know. Hopefully coming indictments will snare some of the GOP traitors.
POTUS needs to know that we have his back, that we appreciate everything he has done to get the USA back on track and that we acknowledge the sacrifice he and his family has made for our sake.
