HE did not look or sound defeated or hesitant to me. He looked as sounded as though he was heroically controlling anger, and huge disgust and loathing, for the evil people who forced this monstrosity upon him.

After more thought, I am 100% sure that there will be a great need for the military and other national security funding in the near future, and that is the only reason he signed it. Vetoing it, even if it was not overturned, would mean a long time before another funding bill was put togehter, and it might be no better than this one.

I think time is importing in this regard.

Yes, he was angry when he said he would not do this again. He would not sign a bill like this ever again. It was the first time I’ve ever seen him show anger. And it was just a flash. Now I’ve read he gets angry in private, but usually he will say he’s angry, disgusted, etc., but he’s pretty controlled, no matter what the MSM says.
