Ok. Here’s the deal re: Gitmo 500 Million renovation, additional hospital and barracks. So we think that we will need that for the upcoming Military Tribunal, enemy combatancts etc. Yes.
However, I also want to mention what I have followed a bit in S. America. It’s likely that there will be a war soon in that area. Venezuela’s VP is a drug dealer with ties to Assad and terrorist groups. Clashes/war is expected with Columbia.
Russia has been helping to prop up Venezuela, and Russian military equipment is already there. At least that’s what I’m hearing. So that could also be a factor in needing to keep and expand Gitmo.
