I can’t figure out what’s up with his water glass - are those plastic lime slices imbedded in the laminate wall?

I dunno. Kinda looks like some type of image on the outside of an empty glass maybe? Like the seal of the Senate? Or maybe there is liquid in it and there’s something solid inside floating. Maybe his balls. Did he vote for the spending bill?

Looks like a Tervis tumbler. It has 2 walls for maintaining the temperature — hot or cold — of your beverage. If it’s a decoration, the “lemon slices” are in the hollow between the 2 walls.
