Y'know, I never read that book or saw the movie. Now you've spoiled it for me, LOL. But there are a number of life situations that work like that.
The great thing is there are more of us Adams citizens than the others. The sad thing is we have kept our noses to the grindstone for 50+ years and allowed this situation to develop on our watch and our grandparents watch. They thought winning WWII would settle things. Look away and they’ll steal your freedom.
Reagan said that the loss of freedom is never more than one generation away. I thought it sounded good when he said it, but I didn’t really get it. He was SO right.

The phrase “gone to the movies” recalls for me a line from the Steelye Dan song (Katy Lied album) ‘Everyone’s Gone to the Movie’s.
It’s a song about a pederaster showing porno to the neighborhood kids.

Do you think Trump will magically route _all_ the evil doers forever? I’m a realist. He will expose them, perhaps, some of them...or even possibly most of them. He’ll put crimps in their style. He might even manage to rouse the complacent masses for a while until the next shiny object appears. But they are not going away, as in vanish. They will go to ground and figure another way to get what they want. And they will be all the more dangerous for having been wounded.
That is not morale-busting propaganda, ala Tokyo Rose. That is reality on planet Earth populated with fallen human beings.
So, to answer your question: No, I don’t think so and that was nowhere near my intentions.
I’ve known lower-level billionaires. One object d’art from their myriad possessions could allow anyone to live a very nice lifestyle for many years. When we see these reports of *net worth* of the elite, we see a carefully curated financial profile. These people are worth many, many more times what the media reports. That includes Trump, FWIW, and he knows this, too. They’ve been zinged, not killed. They will survive to rise again and we must expect that or be blindsided when it happens.
Now: when I see average people in the tens of millions abandoning Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram and turning in their smartphones for flip phones that only text and do phone calls; when I no longer see real investigative reporting characterized as ‘conspiracy theory’; when we can go for an entire year with no smears of Trump or bannings of conservative thought.....then I might actually get up, dance and sing Hallelujah.
Same for me when I saw the phrase. Steely Dan is my “go to” music.

I can. What jury with a single democrat on it will convict any of these guys of breaking laws? It will be a loudmouthed show with screaming every night on the news and in the end there will be a hung jury.
Only people that will get convicted and sent to prison will be republicans, because republicans have no problem putting republicans in prison if they break the law.

Did you watch the video “Everything Is A Rich Man’s Trick”? It addresses the importation of these savages and states the reason is to inject fear into our daily lives so we will clamor for protection that justifies surveillance and *security*, as well as justifying the ME wars.
The morphing part is an added fillip for the subset of Satanists, IMO. Of course, there’s a lot of control to be had from that, as well.
None of this is simple or straightforward. I’ve said before that I’m blown away by the detailed approach of Trump and his people, what I call the Alliance. Every single aspect of this campaign, this military op in the war against the cabal seems to have been considered and factored in. Masterful tactics and strategy.
We may be a month or so away from the end game....or maybe for the beginning of the end game. One end game? I don’t know. This is so multi-faceted, so vast and pervasive. Take the 30,000-foot view and it boggles the mind.

The enemy does seem to be in retreat. Maybe we’ll get some new stuff to tackle tonight, switch our gears for us. And what *is* our baseline for freedoms restored? 1959 and all that wholesomeness? 1980 and Reagan restoring our shining city?
