What he actually said was that there are those in the media who claimed he could shoot someone and still be elected.
Sorry, but I feel it is important to correct that lie whenever I see it.
Bigg Red is correct. Yes that is a very important distinction re the comment about Trump shooting someone. Myself, did not go back and check. I just cringed when I heard it. Thank you Red for pointing that out.
