Another missed warning...
An engineer left a voicemail two days before a catastrophic bridge failure in Miami to say some cracking had been found at one end of the concrete span, but the voicemail wasn’t picked up until after the collapse.
My husband says that the same company that built this bridge, was the same company that built that one that collapsed in Minnesota 9 or 10 years ago.
Oh that hurts my heart. The “coulda woulda shouldas” just pile up and make all of us so sad. But all of them need to be investigated and faced so that they may be fixed.
