Well, baby, start by giving a kid like "Ja'Sean'" a decent American name, like JASON. He's been here for a few generations, right? Our families' old Hebrew names wouldn't mean much to Americans, and that's why we don't use them around here. We are AMERICANS. You want to combat "feelings of isolation?" Let your progeny ASSIMILATE. How about focusing on INTEGRATION and AMERICAN PRIDE instead of ISOLATION and HATRED? (Or maybe I'm just an old loon.)

PS I’ve lived and “worked” in W and E Africa and I never met a “Ja’Sean.”

Maybe someone will write a song about him...along the lines of Ode To Billie Joe.
"Billie Joe McAllister jumped off the Tallahatchie Bridge".

"...Our families' old Hebrew names wouldn't mean much to Americans..."I'm a fan of the name Ruth. I did not consider it Jew-y in the least and it had to be explained to me when naming my daughter (I was outvoted). It was my aunt's middle name, for gosh sake!
Turns out I have an affinity for Old Testament names. I find them timeless and that gives me a small amount of comfort in this crazy world.
