PRESTON, Idaho -- A school district in Idaho is investigating an incident that took place last week in which a science teacher allegedly fed a live puppy to one of his reptiles in front of students.

Local animal activist Jill Parrish is the one who filed the police report.

"What I have learned in the last four days is disgusting. It is sick. It is sick," Parrish told KSTU.

Parrish said a teacher at Preston Junior High School told her that last week after school, Robert Crosland fed a live puppy, who was reportedly sick, to one of his reptiles.

He has a snake and a snapping turtle. Apparently, it happened in front of students.

"Allowing children to watch an innocent baby puppy scream because it is being fed to an animal. That is violence. That is not OK," Parrish said.

“Local animal activist...”

I don’t have any faith in the veracity of animal activists because they usually misrepresent what happened except when they are just making stuff up.

The Teacher is an IDIOT. Students are freaked out when you feed a cricket to a praying Mantis, or a mouse to a corn snake. Death is not something there minds are wired to accept as a teenager or younger. Also watch out for the giant tusked flying fire breathing variety they have in Japan.

Was the teacher Mick from the high mountains of New Mexico?

Extra points to the first one who can tell me what that refers to

I help lead a Trail Life USA troop. It’s an outdoor adventure organization for boys. They love to have a “wilderness survival” campout once a year.

They have to make their own shelters and only have limited gear.

This past summer, we shook it up a little.

First, I broke them up into groups of 2-3 and taught them how to make a spit for their firepits.

Then, we hiked down to the barn where we were staying. One of our leaders was there with a cage of chickens and a cage of rabbits. He taught them how to slaughter and dress each animal. The boys were given the opportunity to participate as they wanted to. Some were squeamish but all participated in some way.

Then they cooked them on the spits.

I can’t believe there are people actually defending this subhuman Neanderthal. This psychopath needs to be destroyed.

I’m disappointed that none of the students or the other teachers had the courage to jump in and beat the holy hell out of that beast and save the poor puppy.

Crossland should be captured by ISIS. Now, that would be entertaining.

If I had been there and seen what he was about to do, you can bet the bank I would have stopped him. Whatever I had to do, I would have stopped him. Then taken the puppy to a vet. If it was ill, as he claimed, I would have had it treated or humanely put down. I heard that he did this after school, without students in the room, but there were plenty of teachers in the building who said they heard the cries. Maybe some of them rushed in, but too late to save the puppy. Maybe it already had big chunks bitten out of it, so could not be saved. This man is seriously mentally ill and must spend a good long time in JAIL. After passing a gauntlet of animal lovers with bats.

We are in complete agreement.

If I had been there, I would have done my best to stop this atrocity. Sickening.

“I’ll bet the same animal rights chick unflinchingly endorses the wanton slaughter of babies in the womb. Funny how that works.”

That was my first thought too.

I worked at HQ for GTE in Thousand Oaks CA.

We had ducks in a reflecting pond and some were
so upset that the raccoons were eating the ducklings.

Nature.
