If I had been there and seen what he was about to do, you can bet the bank I would have stopped him. Whatever I had to do, I would have stopped him. Then taken the puppy to a vet. If it was ill, as he claimed, I would have had it treated or humanely put down. I heard that he did this after school, without students in the room, but there were plenty of teachers in the building who said they heard the cries. Maybe some of them rushed in, but too late to save the puppy. Maybe it already had big chunks bitten out of it, so could not be saved.
