Yup. "Captain these people are being wiped out by a plague that we can stop easily and nobody will ever even know we were there. Their civilization is advanced with art, culture, a rich history of centuries of peace and they will all be dead in days if we don't act!" Picard sips his tea, reaponds. "Government regulations on this point are clear. This plague, as you refer to it, is a natural part of their environment with as much right to life as these people do. More so, in fact, if you consider the damage done to the rest of the eco-system by the people. Allowing them to die may be seen as an act of compassion, one of greater good. Prepare for warp, we're out of here."

Lot to admire there. I guess.
