In time, Catholics were being rounded up, as well, along the Jews, especially outspoken priests. Admittedly, precautions were taken, because many Jews found hiding among the Catholics and even escaped by their hand, underground.
I don’t know who these were, in the picture. They do not look all that proud to be in it. I had to wonder if they could have been one of those heroes doing whatever had to be done to protect others. Just saying...
