By the time they met at the "church" in the finale they had all died. Jack's dad tells him, "Some died before you. Some died long after."
Everyone that escaped the island in the finale lived on for an undetermined amount of time. They could have lived long full lives, or not. We don't know. We get hints that some characters may have changed for the better in the "flash-sideways" stories of the last season. (Sawyer was a by-the-book cop instead of a con-man.) While others were almost identical to who they were before the island. (Kate still on the run)
Some that stayed on the island could have lived for centuries. Hugo became the new caretaker of the island and Ben was his number two. Jack's last words to Hugo were "You're going to do what you do best. Take care of people." And it's Hugo that steers everyone to the church. Or tries to. There are some that aren't ready and still lost, like Ana-Lucia.
I'm telling ya, I can fill up a whole thread with this stuff :)
