I have difficulty reading such and I flinch when I hear such. I guess I’ve been too sheltered. In general I was encouraged to expand my vocabulary beyond such words, yet still having a stinging impact.
Talking about it reminds me, my mother had a client - little ole lady sweet thing - she told mom that she decided that “pale blue” was to be her cussing. So anytime she was really upset, she’d say well, pale blue. LOL
And on the other end of the spectrum, there's ME. If I ain't cussin', I ain't livin.'
Comes from working around convicts all my life, I guess. If you ever met me in real life, you might get a seizure from flinching so much. Haha. :)
I prefer to not use the language either. An older wiser person reminded me that my generation had not invented the words. LOL Sometimes certain words are needed to make the point crystal clear.
I’m a sheltered southern belle, church lady, so I just say, “Well, I’ll declare.”
