If I read my Bible right though, Israel will have a regional war first and Damascus will be destroyed
**********************************************************
In Ezekiel 38, Syria isn’t mentioned. It also says when it id destroyed it will never be inhabited again.

I’m confused. Has Israel had a regional war? Damascus has been destroyed already. So the question I have been asking since we started bombing Syria, is whether it will be rebuilt and then destroyed again.

It’s very confusing to me, because Israel hasn’t been in a regional war yet. So I don’t see how the destruction of Damascus could be the final one, or am I missing something.

No. The prophetic destruction of Damascus has not yet occurred. When it does, it evidently will never ever be lived in again.

Damascus hasn’t been destroyed to the point of not being inhabited. It will be obliterated.

Psalm 83 is the regional war. Damascus isn’t the final one. I think it is 1)Regional War 2)Damascus 3)Gog & Magog. or Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Ezekiel 38-39.
