Actually, I would cancel the mortgage interest tax credit and all other tax credits. Businesses should be taxed on their net income (deducting expenses); tax everyone at a flat (lower) percentage rate. Taxes should only serve the purpose of collecting revenue, not social engineering, not even “desirable” social engineering.

When your other company sends up satellites about every two weeks and then has the booster return under its own direction, digging tunnels at less than a snail’s pace is boring. In fact snails travel about 7 times faster than conventional boring equipment, and The Boring company, while faster than conventional equipment, is still trying to catch up to the snail.
