No surprise if Haiti has a high rate of twinning. It’s probably the food they eat, not anything to do with genetics. Any country that has sweet potatoes or yams as a staple has a high rate of twin births and triplets. Compounds found in sweet potatoes and yams produce a follicle stimulating hormone that results in more than one egg being produced by the ovary. Multiple eggs, multiple births.
