On Monday, David Byrne apologized for not working with any women on his new album, “American Utopia.”
When promoting his new album on Thursday, the former Talking Heads frontman thanked his collaborators on Instagram— all of whom were male, according to the BBC.

Can we now rip Lilith Fair? They made it femalemonly on purpose. I seriously doubt David Byrne did this deliberately.

Nope. Byrne is a raging, Jew-hating pig. His music means nothing.

If I were a woman or minority in the music or movie biz, I would start offering myself as somebody who is willing to sit down and shut up, for a price. The price includes a solemn promise never to whine or winge about my marginal (nonexistent) contribution to the creative process.
Set asides lead to featherbedding. Given the amount of money in the entertainment industry, it could be a very comfortable bed.
Used to know a female welder. She made a fortune just having to show up on all kinds of union jobs to satisfy quotas. Nice lady, good worker, too. But way more jobs came her way than others in the local.
David Byrne is engaging in a 2000-teens marketing ploy. You lay yourself bare and confess your ‘sins’ to the Red Guards just to get noticed. Then maybe the album will sell?
But if he had produced an all male album of GAYS, he would be worshiped!
Things fall apart.
It’s scientific.
Maybe he wanted to put out a DECENT PRODUCT.
