A college student in Connecticut landed in jail after she apparently didn’t take a breakup well, police said.

Kathryn A. Mahoney, a Fairfield University student, was arrested Thursday for allegedly punching her boyfriend in the face when he suggested they stop dating, The Fairfield Citizen reported.

Police said Mahoney, 19, responded to being dumped by striking him in the stomach and nose, leaving him bleeding.

You are saying that if a girl is super hot but extremely sensible too, she is a tranny. Something wrong with that scale. Boys who dress like girls to suck other boys are not as sane as you might think.

The best part....a broken nose just makes us men look even more appealing. She just helped him upgrade to a hotter girl who likes that “rugged and dangerous” look. He can make up any story he wants about why he has a crooked nose.

“It is dangerous and evil to toy with someone’s heart.”

I agree entirely. I don’t have any idea how that relates to this particular story, but as a general truth you are spot on. I’ve seen many lives and careers derailed because of heart break and bad relationships. I think one of the most important things a parent needs to teach their children is how to hold on to themselves, value themselves, and to be respectful but careful in relationships.

Why?

Assault is assault.

This was not a playground scuffle but a case of one adult repeatedly hitting another.

And you have to establish that you are the aggrieved party in case they come back to do more damage.

And if someone is so emotionally unstable as to hit you for no reason then they are unstable enough to wait for you in a dark alley with a club.

A lot of speculation, ones as good as the other. Maybe they we’re going out and he finally captured the Crown. And that was the whole game and he dumped her at that point. He got what he deserved.

It appears that she will very likely be convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence. If so, she will be prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition for the rest of her life regardless of any self-improvement. That, under threat of a minimum federal prison sentence of several years (forgot how many, offhand).

So if she’s attacked by a truly dangerous beast—human or otherwise—she will be at his mercy with no realistic means of defending herself.

There should be a legal remedy, but there isn’t, because...feminists, bar associations, corporate managers, medical lobbies and others who passed the Violence Against Women Act.

I’ve been pummeled by a woman before, because she was angry about an argument. I made absolutely no critical or derisive comments about her, but actually was just defending myself as she was being unfairly hypercritical. I think that at some level, independent of feminism, there is a general feeling among women that men are ‘rocks’ that can’t be truly hurt. Being strong doesn’t mean you can’t be hurt. It means that you suck it up and continue to try doing what’s right, no matter what. Everyone hurts, if not physically then for sure emotionally. It’s just the way it is.

I can understand. I’d be upset with me if I broke up with her too.

“So *you* would go to the police if someone gave you a nosebleed?”

I would take her to the police station with me and she would have two dislocated shoulders from me carrying her off the ground via hammer locks.

Some women believe that women are not culpable for their actions, but that men are culpable for:

1. their own actions

2. actions inaccurately attributed to them

3. the actual actions of all other men everywhere

4. actions inaccurately attributed to other men

5. the actions of women

He’s either a real man and would not hit a girl... Or he’s a wuss....

Or by the way he told her it was over he knew he deserved it. ...
Then went to the cops ... which would put him in the wuss category.

She may have overreacted but that doesn't mean he's not a jerk.

Because punching someone in the face will stop the break up and lead to getting together again.

Women get mad when they’ve been putting out and you break up with them. They feel used and feel like you made them into a slut.

It goes right to their image of themselves as a decent, rexpect able attractive woman.

Destroying someone’s self-image often results in a strong reaction
