That is b/c the standard diagnosis for the ailment of being a boy is ADHD.
If today’s standards had been in place when I was 10 I would be so drugged up I would still be in my childhood home (and mom an dad are long-passed).
I don’t know about that, but growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, I only knew of 2 boys that would qualify for today’s ADHD diagnoses.
They were always getting swats in class.
