I am looking for ways we can organize our response to the purge of conservative or objective sources of information. Would Tweeters be willing to tweet to @PresidentTrump requests for freedom of the press? Would FReepers be willing to call their congress critters regarding the apparent monopoly currently elminating information we as voters rely on to make decisions (disenfranchised)? Have you seen others organizing this way? Here's a draft of an open letter to President Trump I started back when Hannity "went missing" and Q was talking about keeping an eye on our journalists. I have raw ideas but the legalities escape me. Surely the media is behaving like a monopoly that should be broken - a soft coup of the media taking over the reins from the voters? Please assist with tips and leads. Thank you.

Rough draft so I won't format it much. What do you think? Suggestions?

A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

March 5, 2018

President Donald J. Trump
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington D.C., 2500

Dear President Trump,

We The People are being disenfranchised by the network and social media. Independent professional and citizen journalists have been methodically purged from network news and uniformly across social media platforms because they provide us with information and opinions that network and social media heads don't want us to have.

A handful of people at the top of the media empires believe they are superior to us and should be in charge of what we think and the information we share. They limit access to real information we need and instead feeds us their talking points silences us with coordinated censorship. They do so to politically drive the country in the direction they choose regardless of what We The People believe is best for our country. Mr. President, please act to give us true freedom of the press; without it We The People are voiceless. We need our independent professional and citizen journalists to take their rightful places in the marketplace of ideas.

The media's soft coup of We The People is almost complete. Please act to break up the media monopolies and/or censorship by those who have decided they alone are fit to rule over public discourse and opinion, they alone shall decide the future of our country by shaping permitted thoughts and expression of its citizens. Let us judge for ourselves what we read and listen to, help us win back the right to access information that the media has driven from our reach.

Sincerely,

We The People

A good read from anon on recent posts:

1. ZZ (Zebra_Zebra)

2. Light_T_1A-23-go5 = "Light Team" directed to take out target in kill box [1A-23] with GO order in full strength (5 = 5:5 ala "I hear you")

Very good post!!

One thing I would add is that the “purge” seems to be to squash all conservative MAGA content, before the upcoming 2018 elections start in earnest, to affect the outcome against MAGA voters.

Thanks, ransomnote!

some suggestions for small grammatical changes:

1. We the People -> We, the People
needs comma, I think; also in places needs comma after People

2. instead feeds... silences -> instead feed and silence
add “and”, make verbs agree with noun

3. opinion, they alone -> opinion and that they alone
clearer

4. listen to, help us -> listen to. Help us.
2 separate sentences.

?5. media has -> media have
This is technically more correct, I think, but is debatable. Not a big deal and not worth getting into a “religious” argument about.

I checked the WH petition site and there is an Internet Bill of Rights petition that expires today with very few signatures.

RANSOMNOTE,

Place this on WHITEHOUSE.GOV as a petition. It should get millions of responses.
