Sean Hannity’s wife finds him trespassing at their $10m Long Island home and the intruder claims he is writing a book about the Fox News host
Jan Gilbert, 72, was arrested on February 17 after showing up at the house
He told someone there he was writing a book about Hannity to gain entry
That person allowed him in and followed him into the seven-bedroom property
Hannity’s wife Jill was inside - she told the man once he got into the house
Police arrested him a short while later in his car and he was charged with misdemeanor trespassing
Gilbert insists it was a misunderstanding and that there is an explanation for his presence there - he just would not say what it was
