It's not too far fetched to imagine how such a technology could wind someone up & set them off--who is already wound up given their normal biases and neurotic or psychotic or OCD or control freak or anarchic predilections.
Qx came across one factoid several years ago that indicated that 80% of the population were vulnerable to such manipulations. It wasn't clear at the time what the parameters of the tech involved were or what the parameters of the victims were. Evidently, some individuals' genetics prevent them from being so easily manipulated thereby.
Qx also wondered if our devotion to and focus on Christ and walking in His Spirit might or probably well would be protective therefrom.

Hence the apostle Paul’s statement....”The outer man Perishes but the Inner Man is renewed day by day”! If the Holy Spirit is active in a person, then that sets up a protective counter narrative to what false info may be being “beamed in” through the brain’s “God spot”. Remember also from Ecclesiastes...”God sets eternity into the forehead...”. Thus we have the biblical proof of what science has determined to be the “God Spot in our brains. God has left an impression of himself in each of us in some way or fashion.
My grandma who was a wise minister’s wife said once in terms of “bad thoughts”. “Thoughts, like bats may fly through your belfry, but you don’t have to let them may a nest.” The operative word is “YOU”. Like Proverbs says...”Guard the heart for out of it flows the issues of life” . The question becomes for each of us...what or who is the “YOU” that guards the heart?
