I have had 4 procedures, none worked for long and blood thinners gave me two brain bleeds. I had a clamp put on the sack on the atrium the last procedure and it is supposed to help keep the risk of blood clots down. I did get a clot when I was taking a testosterone supplement so I had to stop that too. The good news— with this diet my heart rate (on meds to slow it down) is under control. I have a kardia device and monitor it. My doctor would be pleased with the most recent results. So I just have to live with it too. Good luck FRiend.

I've had over a dozen cardio conversions trying to kick the heart back into normal sinus rhythm. The surgeons tried closing the atrial pouch during my open heart surgery. Nothing seemed to work or last long before I'd go back into an irregular heartbeat. Like you said, none of them worked for long for me either.

I don't have any overt symptoms of a-fib that bother me but I do have to travel every month to the VA for my INR lab draw.

And so we live with it. This getting old shit is getting old. :-)
