I read an interesting article on prepping the other. We always talk about needing shelter, water, and food. The point the author made was that air is numero uno.

As in only minutes without adequate oxygen is terminal.

So his advice is to make sure that you have a mask to serve as a filter. I think people in Israel do make sure they have these.

For most emergencies, not necessary where we live, but there you have it.

Interesting idea and not something I ever heard about before. I wonder if Food Service masks would be good enough? When I thought I was going to open a spice business, I got a couple boxes. They are fairly cheap.

Dust masks are in my ‘get home’ bag in my pickup. My daughter was 6 months old when St. Helens blew. The dust mask covered her whole face with the exception of two little eyes looking out
