I have no clue!
but i do grow peppermint and spearmint (and a chocolate mint that i want to take a nap in, yum!). The spearmint is my favorite- it has more mintiness, like the gum flavor. Grows better in the cool weather, while peppermint does better with heat.
I’m thinking that the peppermint is the one that we want, for tabbouli. The Spearmint seems to be the one that doesn’t taste right in that application.
