To: To-Whose-Benefit?
I don't know the circumstances of your friend's case but I've heard many stories of people who were objectively not bad guys (like, for example, cases where the cops went to the wrong house) that ended with a beating. The result is that my instinct to trust and admire law enforcement has become tempered with a healthy cynicism. Turns out they are human. Some are great and noble, others are regular guys just doing a job, and some are drunk with power and ready to prove it.

If there's video it would reveal the tale. Was she truly causing a danger to herself or the officers? Or are they using some technicality to show her who's boss? If there's no video it'll be hard to ever know.

You would do well to apply this logic to any group of people.....There is alway the exception to the rule. In the Marine corps they called it the ten percent rule!!!

Sure. Most cops are decent folks, doing a crappy job.

And most of them exercise common sense restraint.

But the leftist ‘Blame The Man’ has made that job harder for them.

And unfortunately there are those anxious to just take it out on anyone.
