You ask a good question. I don’t believe there truly is any way to protect reputation in the face of determined smear efforts.
It is my belief that the Lord’s Recording Angels are writing down all events of slander and unrighteousness practiced against us, and our Lord is our final recourse. He says that vengeance is His; He will repay.
That can seem like cold comfort, but as they say, “that which does not kill us makes us stronger.” Our Lord does comfort and strengthen when we are tested and we hold fast to Him.
I marvel at the survival of someone like a Scooter Libbey who was so unjustly convicted for a process crime. I call for God’s Justice in ALL the situations where this kind of darkness is practiced upon His children.

My prayer daily is that President Trump’s enemies be unmasked and destroyed.
In addition, I pray that all that prey on children will be unmasked and destroyed.
God doesn’t always work as fast as I would like but I firmly believe that will happen.
I just watch and wait.
