Ah, now here is a sensible way to write a contract: make sure you include in there some significant monetary incentive for behavior that breaches the terms of the contract.

JUST IN: Sean Millers contract, as written, somehow pays him more for getting fired with cause than without cause. So if Miller is fired with cause, Arizona will owe him approximately $5 million more ($10.3 million versus $5.15 million) than if they fired for no reason.

Who is Sean Miller and why should anyone care?
Both no longer there.
“Who is Sean Miller and why should anyone care?”
He’s that guy who threw the pass to Jerome Lane. “Send it in, Jerome!”

and why should anyone care? You forgot that.
30 years ago and it does not seem so long ago. Back then I’d pick up the preseason basketball magazines on the way home from work and I remember one with a big picture of Miller.
A cheater...soon to be felon.
Personally, I don’care about this indivitual. For the story, it is important to note that he’s the first of many “top” coaches from blueblood programs likely to go down in this scandal. It should help to clean the swamp of backroom deals, under the table payments, and exploitiation of young athletes in college progams.
From Lute Olson to Loot Miller.
He’s not the first Rick Pitino.
Under fire for discussing paying 100,000.00 to a player to come to U of A.
You’d think that Miller would now have extra credibility talking about money.
Thank you. You are most kind to inform me of something that is completely superfluous to my life and the grand scheme of things.
I wonder if Sean Miller's lawyer or agent had that put in so that he would never be fired for cause even if the University had security physically toss him off campus. The terminiation would always officially be by mutual consent and "leaving to spend more time with his family".
What felony did he commit?
Conspiracy to commit bribery...
Nice to see the FBI has their priorities straight. /s

Isn’t that called a ‘signing bonus’?
