I can recommend ZTR. Slightly over-inflating the rear tires helps cut down on lawn damage from a hard turn. A lawn service guy I know has three Husqvarna ZTRs.. My neighbor next door also had one. Seemed like solid units.

I had to replace a blade drive bracket on the neighbor’s machine; the bearing froze. I attributed it to poor maintenance (never greased).

I cannot recommend my Simplicity (also sold as Craftsman) because of an electric clutch failure & poor deck level control.

If you want to go cheap, buy one of these Snappers used. I had one & used it for ten years; it was already more than ten years old when I acquired it. I gave it away to a friend when I purchased my ZTR. He used it to carve a trail on his wooded property. Bulletproof!
