During the Revolutionary War the soldiers had the same weapons as the civilians who answered the call.

Personally, I don’t see where a hunter needs a semi-automatic AR15. When I was a kid people would go deer hunting with a 30.06 and three rounds.

Now, if the Founding Fathers knew what’s going on today they’d probably add “the people have the right to defend themselves from an out of control government and they shall be able to possess the same weapons as the army”. And the cops.

Bottom line is it’s none of my business what a person uses to hunt. And The Constitution does not mention an age.

Well in Alaska, you need a semi Auto rifle because the Griz attack at 35 mph. In brush if you miss your bolt action shot, you just might have bought the farm. So when I went Caribou hunting, I used a semi Auto .308

Camped over night, had to keep the fire going all night because if you don’t, you end up Griz scat. Griz tracks every where, they are hunting the Caribou just like you.

Do you REALLY want to take a bolt action out there?

Lost a couple of pets to wolf packs in town. Yeah, wolf packs. Yes, I carry a spare clip or two, cause sometimes the packs hunt people.

You REALLY want a single action pistol walking your dog at dusk?
