Yeah. I can’t really see the Founders looking upon the 20th century as a reason not to have an individual right to keep and bear arms.

I was going to say... The world is pretty savagely brutal but the tools are different. What was it that Einstein said - World War 3 might be fought with nuclear weapons but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones.

The Weaponry is advanced but humans don’t seem to advance that much from inherited behaviors.

Which as a human, I feel the need to have every ability at my disposal to protect myself as I see fit.

EXACTLY!! I've read waaay too much history to give up my guns. I know what happens next. And there won't be a free society on a distant shore to come rescue us like there was for Europe in 1944.
